DOMINICA : PROGRAMME KEY ADVANTAGES

1. 1. Dominica passport expands mobility by offering free visa or visa-on-arrival to more than 140 countries, including Spain, Greece, Portugal, France and all the countries from the Schengen area, many countries from South America such as Brazil, Costa Rica and Argentina, many other countries like the England, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc.; 
   2. Dominica passport can also help you obtain a tourist visa, a student visa of business visa other countries, such as in Canada, in Australia or in the United States;
   3. Having a Dominica passport may create open new possibilities. You may be able to open a bank account and set up your business abroad or any several other actions more easily through this second citizenship;
   4. The Dominica Citizenship by Investment Programme does not require language, residency or travel to qualify for citizenship. You can be at ease : there will be no major preliminary step before you can submit your application;
   5. Parents or grandparents over the age of 55 who are substantially supported by the main applicant may be part of the application: you can include your family members in your application so they can access the many advantages of Dominica citizenship;
   6. Children of the applicant who are aged between 18 and 30 years old and who are fully supported by the applicant or studying full-time may be considered as dependents. Therefore, they may be part of the same application. By doing so, they will be able to enjoy the many benefits provided by the Dominican citizenship at the beginning of their adult life.

DOMINICA: MAIN REQUIREMENTS

The Citizenship by Investment Programme of Dominica allows the granting of citizenship by a certificate of registration to individuals who contribute to the economic development of the island. To qualify under this programme, all applicants must be of good character and have no criminal record. The application is subject to a Due Diligence verification process, which the according fees shall be paid upon submission of the application to the Citizenship by Investment Unit of Dominica. The due diligence fees are of $7,500 USD for a single applicant and of 4,000 USD for each accompanying member over the age of 16. Additionally, the applicant must accomplish one of the two investment options:

Option A. Make a contribution of $100,000 USD to the Economic Diversification Fund of Dominica (for a single applicant), with an additional amount of $50,000 USD for a spouse. It is also possible to make a contribution of $175,000 USD for a family of 4 members, which includes the main applicant, a spouse and up to two children. 
OR;

Option B. Acquire a property of a minimum value of $200,000 USD. The property may be resold after 5 years. Under this option, the governmental fees apply which are of $25,000 USD for a single applicant and of 35,000 USD for a family including the main applicant, a spouse and up to 2 children. Additional governmental fees may apply based on the total number of people part of the same application.
Moreover, the processing fees are of $1,000 USD and the certificate of naturalisation is $250 USD per person.

DOMINICA : PROCESS

1. 1. We assist you in preparation of all supporting documents required for the citizenship application, including the translation of the documents into English and its legalization by a local notary as well as the completion of the forms;
   2. We submit the complete application of citizenship on your behalf to the Dominica government authorities. To process the application, you will be asked to cover Due Diligence and Governmental fees;
   3. Due Diligence check process;
   4. Once your application and the Due Diligence checks have been approved, you will be asked to finalise the real estate investment or proceed with the contribution to the Economic Diversification Fund of Dominica. Processing time takes in average up to 90 days to obtain a passport of Dominica.

DOMINICA: SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

Our team will assist you in assembling the required supporting documents based on your and profile. All documents that are in a foreign language will have to be translated into English. We will also be guiding you with regards to the legalization and authentication of the documents according to Dominica Citizenship By Investment Unit guidelines. Below is a generic list of documents required to present in a citizenship application in Dominica:

   4. National identity card
   5. Passport;
   6. Police certificate;
      
   7. Military booklet of records (if applicable)
   8. Obtained diploma(s);
   9. Documents confirming the source of revenue. This may include business documents, certificate of dividends, work certificate, title deeds, revenue coming from rentals, etc.;
   10. Certificate from a bank and bank statements covering the 12 months preceding the application of citizenship of Dominica.
